2013 NFL Draft (Amerson at #9)

Just saw this link to an early look at the 2013 NFL draft. They have Amerson at #9 on the board. I could see him being a first rounder if next season is as good as last year. I thought it was strange that I didn't see Glennon anywhere on the list. Thoughts?

I think Amerson only has to get half as many INTs, and make teams afraid to throw to his side of the the field to be in the first 2 rounds. Glennon on the other hand, has to improve his stats a good bit, or become a combine wonder to get drafted on the second day, just by going off of last years stats.

^ I don't think so. That would only happen if the rest of the secondary is garbage..We have another awesome starting corner in CJ Wilson. Jarvis byrd can be really good when he is healthy. We also have awesome safeties with Wolff and Bishop. All these guys have a lot of experience and play very well in our system. Teams will be forced to throw at Amerson because he will cover the go-to receiver when no one else is open.

Not that I am a huge fan of his analysis or his reasoning, but I do like where Mel Kiper has Amerson. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=7876921
