Dave Telep is saying that Ricardo Gathers has not signed yet for Baylor(espn insider article). He/his folks are concerned about the major violations that Drew is racking up in Waco. (dont let me get started on how crooked i think they are at Baylor). I know that Gott was recruiting him before, but was rather late to the scene. Any chances we are trying to get in his ear? He would be a quality big man that we could definitely use.

I don't see a situation where Gott wouldn't have contacted him. He would be a great addition.

They said last night during the recruiting special that he was waiting to see if the NCAA would impose additional sanctions before signing (post-season ban, etc.), and that since the NCAA did not, he will proceed with signing. He's going to Baylor.

According to this, Ricardo was on break this week and still intends on signing with Baylor. Besides, Baylor's self imposed sanctions were accepted by the NCAA and probably won't affect the recruited players... (Unless they get caught again)
